MODULE 1 : INTRODUCTION & OVERVIEW

MODULE 2 : INTRODUCTION TO SERVICE SYSTEM

In This session you will learn about water and water distribution systems also you will get the knowledge about the types of pipes and other essential elements in the water supply systems.
MODULE 4 : DRAINAGE SYSTEM
In this session we will learn the most important system in the building, the process of disposal of the water from building to the main sever.
MODULE 5 : ESSENTIALS OF DRAINAGE SYSTEM- TRAPS AND INSPECTION CHAMBER
In this session you will learn about the most important elements in drainage systems, the working of traps, different types of traps and working of inspection chambers.
MODULE 6 : VENTILATIONS AND OPENING
In this session we will learn the basics of ventilations, types of ventilation in building, and importance of it in the building.
MODULE 7 : AIR CONDITIONING
In this session we will learn the air-cooling cycle, different components of AC and their workings. Types of AC.
MODULE 8 : FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM
In this session we will learn the strategies for fire protections, equipment’s used in fire protection system.
MODULE 9 : LIFT AND ESCALATORS
In this session we will learn the workings of lifts and elevators, different components in lifts and elevators.
MODULE 10 : INSULATING MATERIALS
In this session we will learn about insulation and the different materials that we use for insulation.
MODULE 11 : ACOUSTICS & SOUND PROOFING
In this session we will learn the basics of acoustics, methods to achieve the sound insulation in interior spaces.
MODULE 12 : LIGHTING
In this session we will learn the basic of lighting in interior design, importance of lighting and different types of lighting.
MODULE 13 : ELECTRICAL DRAWING
In this session you will learn the most important type of working drawing i.e. electrical drawings, you will get knowledge of different elements in electrical drawings, like modules, schedule of switches etc.
MODULE 14 : LPG, SOLAR HEATERS & REFUSE CHUTE SYSTEM

COURSE DESCRIPTION
Building service system are the systems installed in buildings to make them comfortable, functional, efficient and safe. They can include fire safety, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), lighting, plumbing, ICT (information and communications technology).
Building service system play a central role in contributing to the design of a building, not only in terms of overall strategies and standards to be achieved, but also in the position of vertical service risers, routes for the distribution of horizontal services, drainage, energy sources, sustainability.
Building services engineers influence the architecture of a building and play a significant role on the sustainability and energy demand of a building. Within building services engineering, new roles are emerging. Building services engineers play a significant role in combating climate change. As such, a typical building services engineer has a wide-ranging career path in five categories: -

Design: designing layouts and requirements for building service system for residential or commercial developments.

Construction: supervising the construction of the building service system, commissioning systems and ongoing maintenance.

Environmental: developing new energy saving methods for construction, designing new and improved energy conservation building service system.

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC): specializing in the design, development, construction and operation of HVAC systems.
