MODULE 1 : INTRODUCTION & OVERVIEW
For all the aspiring and professional Fashion Designers, the course is designed to empower you with various creative, practical, and technical aspects of knitting which is an important part of the Fashion Designing industry. MODULE 2 : INTRODUCTION TO KNITTING
This topic covers the basics of knitting, from understanding what knitting is, to getting acquainted with the variety of materials used for knitting. The video provides insights on standard yarn and knitting needles or pins available in the market.
MODULE 3 : SLIP ON & CAST ON
This topic will help you get started with knitting like knotting and looping. You will get hands-on on slip knot and cast on in this video. A step-by-step tutorial will explain and simplify the knitting process for you.
MODULE 4 : KNIT STITCH
Knitting depends on two primary concepts - loops and needle movement. This topic will help you understand the basic structure of knitting including looping, needle movement, and learn the art of knit stitch - individual stitch and pattern stitch. MODULE 5 : PURL STITCH

MODULE 7 : STOCKINETTE STITCH
Commonly referred to as a stocking stitch or single jersey or flat, the stockinette stitch is the second most basic knitting pattern and is commonly used to make scarves, socks, blankets, hats, and sweaters. MODULE 8 : RIB STITCH
Also considered as a versatile stitch and commonly referred to as ribbing, rib stitch represents vertical stripes of stockinette stitch that alternate with vertical stripes of reverse stockinette stitch. MODULE 9 : WELT STITCH

MODULE 10 : SEED STITCH
The combination of alternating knit and purl patterns horizontally and vertically is known as seed stitch. MODULE 11 : ADDITION OF YARN

Introduction to knitting - This section makes you aware about basics of knitting, what is knitting, different materials used for knitting - yarn and needles. It also covers the standard variety of yarn and needles available in the market. In short, it makes you aware about the nitty gritties related to knitting.
Basic knitting techniques - This section covers the basic techniques like cast on, cast off, knit side, purl side, etc. It gets you started on knitting by introducing slip knots and looping and so on.
Advanced knitting techniques - Starting from basics, this section covers the stitching techniques in knitting like welt stitch, rib stitch, to name a few. You will also learn how to create vertical and horizontal patterns, and add yarn to knitting.
Products - In this section, you will learn about stitch gauge and know where are the knitted products commonly used.
