Only a few know that our Industry Expert taught Fashion for 10 years, before he launched his resort-wear label, and of-course before he undertook costume designing for television shows like, Jhalak Dikh Laja, Big Boss, and Nach Baliye.

“Happy Hours September” for our Fashion Students
The Six-Weeks online internship program with Celebrity Designer and Stylist Ken Ferns proved to be a perfect start of career for S.Y, T.Y., Undergraduate and Graduate Fashion Design students. Our internship program started in September, the 6 weeks internship journey with our celebrity designer was designed with a vision to make students fluent in the fashion and styling world with just a few clicks on your screens. Enrolled students got a chance to be a part of the busy life of the celebrity designer and have a hands-on experience, with some costume dramas, got an inside edge of all the glitz and glam. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Six-Weeks, 2-Virtual Hours with the celebrity designer every day, from Monday to Friday. The aspiring fashion designers and professionals grabbed the Internship Opportunity and transformed their challenging period through phenomenal learning experiences.
Hundreds joined us from across the country and made the best of this opportunity.
OVERVIEW OF THE OPPORTUNITY
LEARNING FROM THE EXPERT
This was a hands-on opportunity for the Fashion Design Students, to explore their opportunities, and network with the celebrity designer and stylist. Not only that, they got a chance to not only interact but also breach the gap between Bollywood and fashion.
CAREER AND RIGHTS SKILLS
From designing and styling as per the personalities, and body size, to the Fashion Week Design Collection design methods, students learnt the ideas and the Fashion Design and Style language. This program presented students a chance to embrace their skills and seek a hands-on opportunity.
DESIGNING COLLECTION
The Online Internship Program put forth an opportunity for all to learn and know the design process, the design thinking process that goes behind designing a fashion week collection, from the Designer and Stylist, whose colorful, trendy, out of the box collection is showcased on the Lakme Fashion Week Ramp every year.
STYLING
From Editorial Styling to Personal Shopper styling, to becoming an influential style planner on Instagram, students learnt all about the Style Drama from the expert, whose Style Suggestions and costumes make the stars like Shehnaz Gill, Karan Tacker, Gauahar Khan, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhat, Terrence Lewis, shine.
DESIGN
Students got to know how to design costumes, designing as per the characters, about design research and inspirations, about all the Make-up and Hairstyle jazz, and the entire design development process. They also learnt the design process for Fashion Week themes, Bollywood projects design process, all that aspiring fashion designers and fashion stylists dreamt of, from the expert himself.
SCOPE OF DESIGN
Fashion Design and Styling has huge amount of scope, learn and explore all about it in a practical way from fashion vlogging, and blogging, to ifs’ and buts’ of fashion design with the Celebrity Designer and Stylist himself. What else did the students need, Ken Ferns also unveiled the art of opening your own label and brand, and to all the other wonderous scopes of reach of fashion design industry.

How could aspiring fashion designers and stylists miss the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be the next Fashion Fellow of Indian Design League.
